I'm Elisa, 100% Italian, from Milano. I'm a teacher and a traveller. In the last years I traveled a lot, walking alone across Europe for several kilometres. In my walking travels I met people from all over the world, I loved to meet different cultures. I love to share Italian culture, language, traditions. I have 12 years of teaching experience: I worked with children, teenagers and adults. I taught Italian, English, theatre and art. I have always taught face to face, with the pandemic my world has changed too. I had to adapt my job to the circumstances, so I focused on teaching Italian online. I started some months ago and I love it! I love to meet people around the world, connecting with them and share everything I can about our beautiful language.

I started to teach 12 years ago, after my graduations in Italian cultural heritage. I started to work in a theatre with children and teenagers. I developed my teaching skills and I collaborated with theaters, associations and schools. In the first years of experience I taught theatre and art: I learned a lot about how to teach, how to relate with students, how to listen them and how make everything interesting for all kind of different people. Then I started to teach English in primary and secondary schools and in some associations where adults wanted to learn a new language. After that I started with Italian in some associations of foreigners. When the pandemic started I had some issues in the beginning because schools where closed. I started after that to teach Italian (and only Italian) online: I started with Preply platform, now I have some customer founded advertising my classes on social medias. I would like to expand my teaching job and increase the number of my students. I'm working to transform this "Teaching Italian online" experience in a full time job.
